ONGOING EVENTS:

Back by popular demand,  the Douglas Library will be offering chair massage by LMT Linda Rossi on Fridays, in MAY, from 3-6PM.  The cost is $1.00 per minute with Linda donating half of all proceeds to the Library.  Treat yourself and treat the library as well!  Walk-ins welcome or call for a specific time!  860-824-7863.

Story Hour resumes on Friday morning, September 9 at 10:30 with Laura Moran.  Please join us for a fun morning of stories, projects and a snack!

 

Douglas Library Book Discussion Group meets every last Wednesday of the month unless otherwise noted, at 6:30PM.  Check out details on our BOOK GROUP Page!  All are invited.

Welcome to the website of the Douglas Library of North Canaan, CT!
 

We are looking for a few good plants!  Our annual Plant, Book and Bake Sale is fast approaching and we are seeking donations of perennials, annuals, vegetable plants, what have you!  Help us make this our best Plant Sale yet!  To be held on Saturday, May 19   from 10-2PM.  We have lots of empty pots behind the library for your transplants.  Please call the library for details.
